So, finally, this year, I went into the studio to design some beautiful and practical hair jewelry for myself. But having been approached so often by men & women who ask about my hair jewelry, I have decided to add it to my web-site. No two designs are ever alike. Each piece is an individual work of art, and can be made in the stone of your choice. I would be delighted to e-mail picture's of various stones to you, for your approval. HOW TO USE A HAIR STICK
Brush, or pull, your hair back. Coil your hair into a bun shape, or a chignon. Position your hair high, or low, on your head, as you prefer. You will need to keep your hair twisted taut, but not tight. Using the hair stick pin your hair close to the scalp by entering at one side of the bun, or chignon, and sliding along the scalp gently. Exit through the top side of the bun, or chignon. Voila....instant chic. The whole process takes about 30 seconds.

From Rosie's Secret Stash ... Magnificent Cerrillos turquoise in the most amazing shade of pale turquoise and seafoam. This stone has a turtle clearly visible in the matrix ... it's wonderful.
 
The stone measures approximately 3/4" x 3/4" and is "framed" and set in sterling. The sterling silver stick is hammered to show off all it's reflective glory. Total length of hairstick is 7". One of my favorites.

Simply elegant. Deep, sky blue, turquoise cabochon, set in sterling with a sterling "spear" to catch your gorgeous tresses. Cabochon measures 1" x 3/4". Total length of 6.5".

Turquoise Hair Stick

"Come into my parlor" said the spider to the fly...A wonderful piece of Turquoise, crossed with spider-web matrix, and accented with two 4mm lab opals. All set in sterling silver on a sterling silver hair-stick. The overall length of the stick is 6.5". The turquoise cabochon measures 7/8" x 5/8" at widest points.
Lapis Hair-Stick

A gorgeous Lapis Lazuli cabochon tops a design stamped, sterling silver hair-stick. The Lapis is set in sterling and surrounded with fine sterling rope, and accented underneath with a vibrant purple shell cabochon.

Lapis cabochon measures 7/8" long x 3/4" wide at widest point. Shell cabochon measures 8mm x 6mm approx. Overall length of hair-stick is 6.75"

Shell Hairstick

The rich hues of purple shell, set in sterling silver, and surrounded with sterling beading, and then given a final flourish of an 8mm cabochon of ruby red shell. The red shell flashes in the light.....wonderful!
