
"I learned my trade the old fashioned way. I chose to apprentice to a gifted, Pueblo Indian, Silversmith & Stone Cutter. From him, his friends, and colleagues, I was privy to generations of knowledge surrounding the art of Silversmithing & Stone Cutting.
Turquoise Shack is my studio, and not a factory. My jewelry is wrought by hand, not cast. My pieces are inspired by the colors and architecture of South West, and by my travels overseas. Natural scenery and pueblo architecture are major inspirations for me. Each piece on this site is my own design, and the stones used are unique -- materials courtesy of Momma Nature, with a touch of ooh-la-la from Rosie...
